Charcoal Gravel is a muted, charcoal-coloured river gravel, through to dark grey, with pebbles that vary in size between 5 mm and 20 mm. Charcoal Gravel lends itself well to path and driveway constructions and other uses such as in garden beds. If you want a nice shiny black pebble, we recommend the Polished Black Pebble as the Charcoal has a duller, more understated appearance, in comparison.

Polished Black Pebble is a smooth and rounded pebble, which comes in a range of sizes from pebbles to larger pieces: 10–20 mm, 20–30 mm, 30-50mm and 50–70 mm. They can make a stunning part of a water feature, or provide sleek and elegant contrasts around the garden, in pathways, between pavers, and in and around planter boxes.
These shiny, smooth stones are popular for their cool, dark appearance. As they are imported, Polished Black Pebbles can cost a little more, so typically they are used in smaller quantities,as highlights in courtyard or feature gardens, and sometimes decoratively, such as in building foyers.

These natural river stones and pebbles are a roundish shape, tumbled by water flow. They come in a mix of colours – mostly brown to beige and sometimes with charcoal tones.
Round River stones are available in 5 different sizes, all of which look great in garden beds. The smaller 10 mm and 20 mm sizes are suitable for driveways and paths, (except if positioned on steep slopes, in which case the smoothness of the pebbles can make it more difficult to manoeuvre uphill).
By mixing Lucky Stones with the 40mm or 50mm Round River stones, and even some 20 mm sized pebbles, you can create an attractive dry river bed effect.

“The fairest of them all”
Snow White Pebble is a roundish, smooth tumbled stone that is a very bright white colour. It brings a brilliant finish to building foyers, potted plants or small, feature or courtyard gardens.
These pebbles come in four size ranges, of 20–30 mm, 30–50 mm, 50–70 mm. They are generally more costly because they are imported, so they tend to be used more sparingly than other white stones, to create a dramatic effect. The Snow White Pebbles are only available in bags, typically of 20 kg size.
When planning for paths or larger garden areas, consider the Cowra White which we recommend as a more economical alternative.
